1. Information On How The Tapes Work...
Each tape is completely safe and very effective and comes with a clear set of instructions. On both sides of the cassettes you will firstly hear some introduction music and an English voice explaining how the tape works. After a few minutes the music fades and you are left with a pleasant easy to listen to voice, along with some uniquely created sound effects which will guide you into a state of complete physical and mental relaxation. These special sound effects have been recorded at 60 b.p.m, and help to synchronise the left and right hemispheres of the brain and create a very receptive learning state. Each recording also includes echoed affirmations which slowly pan from left to right in your headphones. This deeply relaxing and unique effect is very hypnotic and helps you to absorb each affirmation deeply. In this receptive relaxed state you will also be given a number of positive post hypnotic suggestions to help you achieve your desired goal (i.e. Stop Smoking, More Confidence, Healthy Eating etc). Most recordings also include Pink Noise, a natural sound similar to waves. The low frequencies (between 6 & 10hz) emitted by Pink Noise synchronise with brainwaves and guide you into a mentally relaxed and creative state.

At the end of each recording you will be gently brought back to full waking consciousness with a combination of suggestion and music. There are also a number of positive subliminal messages embedded in the outro music which facilitates the overall effect. The only exception to this is the Sleep tape which aims to guide you into a deep relaxing sleep and has no fade out music. All affirmations and subliminals are clearly printed on the inside covers of each tape and CD.

The important thing to remember is that you are being guided, so you will always be in full control of the whole process. If at anytime you needed to awaken you just open your eyes and you will be wide awake. Sometimes people can fall asleep whilst listening to the tapes and again that’s fine as the unconscious mind is very capable of absorbing all the positive suggestions even in light sleep states.

2. How To Use The Tapes and CD's...
The tapes work in varying degrees and will be different in each individual. It is impossible to give an estimated time, but after a few listens you should begin to notice some positive changes. Sometimes the positive changes can be instant and dramatic, in other people it can be a gradual subtle progression into a new pattern of behaviour over time.

You can listen to either track as often as you like. Although it maybe best to leave a short gap of say 5 to 10 minutes between tracks so you can absorb and assimilate the content. The recommendation of a gap between tracks is simply a guide and it is still fine to listen to both tracks consecutively, if you prefer. The key to absorbing Hypnotic suggestion is compounding - The more you hear the suggestion the quicker your unconscious mind gets the message. You then respond to the suggestion automatically in your every day life.

So it is best to listen to the tapes/CDs on a daily basis initially, and continue until you have reached your goal or overcome the problem. You may even choose to continue listening indefinitely. With the Weight Loss title for example, you can continue to use the tape/CD even after you reach your target weight, as it will re-enforce your determination to remain in control of your weight and keep you focused.

3. Listening To More Than 1 Tape/CD at a time...
It is probably best to listen to different tapes at different times to allow your mind to focus on one goal at a time. However some titles will work fine with others as the issues are closely related. For example, the Self Esteem tape will work fine in conjunction with the Think Positively, Self-Confidence or even Weight Loss title. However it would not be so good to listen to Smoking and Weight together as both are separate goals which need your full attention.

As for time span it really depends on how you feel yourself. For example, if you are listening to the weight tape for 2 months and you feel you have conquered the problem then you can move on to another goal, although a top up listen every now and again would be a good idea. If after this time you are still struggling with eating habits then continue working with the tape/CD and maybe seek additional one to one help from a good therapist.

4. Customised Tapes and CD's...
We are always working on new commercial titles covering an ever wider range of subjects. There is much time and care spent producing new titles and so it makes it very costly and time consuming to produce a personalised tape. However when we have to put a price on producing a one off our usual quote is between £500 and £1000 depending on what is required.

5. If you fall asleep listening to the tape/CD...
If you fall asleep listening to the tape but you still hear the count up at the end of the track, you have probably been in a deep trance throughout. In this state you will still be absorbing all the suggestions on an unconscious level. If you don't hear the count up at the end you have probably drifted into a deep sleep at some point. In this case you will probably only absorb the suggestions to the point where you went into a deeper sleep. If this is the case we suggest you listen at a time when you are not tired.

6. CD Versions...
We now have all 20 titles available on CD. The CD versions are newly re-recorded versions of the cassette titles with a slightly longer therapy content. We also plan to release downloadable MP3 versions of the best sellers.

8. Finding A Good Therapist/Training Organisations...
If you are looking for a therapist The British School of Clinical Hypnosis have many practitioners throughout the UK. The organisation and the training is of the highest standard although the quality of individuals can vary. We suggest you call a few locally and look for someone who you feel comfortable with. Good therapy is all about dynamics between the therapist and client. Finding a good therapist who inspires you and who can get to the root of the problems is the key.

Another organisation called the APHP have many therapists in the UK. These are well qualified therapists who have organised their own group and have hand picked other therapists to join them. So on the whole they should be good.
